13lackbirds on ao3, and I hope you're enjoying the exchange so far! I dearly love all of these canons and all of these ships, so I'm thrilled we matched on one of them. I have some ideas and squee to share, but if you don't see anything you'd be interested in writing, feel free to ignore all of that and write what your gut tells you. Have fun with it! In any case, thank you for creating something for me, and for taking the time to read this. :)
Before the ship-specific prompts, I've got some lists of basic info that might help you out.
Dislikes/DNWs: Noncon, incest, and sexualized torture are my big DNWs. I'd also prefer no curtainfic (i.e. 100% domestic fluffy sweetness), infidelity, issuefic, A/B/O, or mundane AUs.

Anri of Astora/Ashen One
Anri is so sweet, and makes me so sad! I'd love anything that has these two working together -- a fetch quest, sparring to improve their combat techniques, fighting off invaders or helping another NPC. Moments of vulnerability and caregiving would be great as well; the world is such a mess, but maybe they can share a few moments of solace together. Based on the shrine she made for Horace and the fact that she's rather unguarded about her emotions in her dialogue, Anri strikes me as a character who is very kind and sincere to people she cares about, so it'd be nice to see her court the Ashen One with thoughtful gestures and gifts.
If you want to go a darker route, there's always the Lord of Hollows ending. Anri can be seen in the hollow crowd, so there's some fun potential for how the two of them handle the fallout from their "marriage" -- arranged marriage trope with a dark twist? Friends-to-(married)-enemies-back-to-friends-to-lovers? Is the Ashen One ashamed for marrying Anri in such a way (Yuria's obliqueness about the ceremony's requirements could imply that the Ashen One was misled about Anri being assassinated, but that's definitely up for interpretation)? Was Anri aware of and consenting to the betrothal, or does she feel betrayed?
Anri of Astora/Fire Keeper
Anri is an Unkindled lord-seeker just like the player character, so it stands to reason that the Fire Keeper would be there to aid Anri, too. Maybe the Fire Keeper could heal Anri's (and Horace's) Dark Sigils, preventing them from going hollow and averting a lot of sadness. I'd love to see the way their relationship would differ from that of the Fire Keeper and the player character; as I touched on above, I think Anri is one of the most emotionally open characters in the game, so maybe she could draw out a less restrained side of the Fire Keeper. It would be sweet to see Anri bringing trinkets and gifts to the Fire Keeper, the two of them commiserating over the difficulty of their duties, the Fire Keeper quietly fretting or pining when Anri doesn't visit the shrine for a long time, or the Fire Keeper consoling Anri after she's separated from Horace.
Ashen One/Fire Keeper
I love how the Ashen One relies on the Fire Keeper to give her strength, and how the Fire Keeper is the Ashen One's steadfast ally even when it makes her doubt herself and her purpose. In a way they're doomed to be together, and anything that plays up their not-exactly-healthy dependence on each other and focuses on the ways their relationship evolves would make me a very happy camper. The two of them attempting to comfort each other about their fears or insecurities would be amazing, especially if it's both verbal and physical reassurance. The Fire Keeper is a very ascetic character, so I'd love to see how she'd react to the Ashen One pampering her to the point of worship -- reverently kissing her hands, unbraiding and combing out her hair, being gently attentive to every part of her body. It would make me so happy to see them both in awe of each other. I'd also really enjoy a fic about the End of Fire ending. How does their "grand betrayal" impact their relationship? Does the Fire Keeper resolve her conflicting feelings about the Ashen One and the implications and aftermath of their shared quest? How does the Ashen One feel about putting the Fire Keeper through such a world-shaking change? What happens post-game?
Ashen One/Company Captain Yorshka
Loyalty, devotion, a knight and her lady, a commander and a foot soldier, a goddess and her worshipper -- this ship has a ton of fun tropes to play around with. I'd love to see the Ashen One help Yorshka learn about the wider world, especially if that means Yorshka gets to come down from her prison. At the same time maybe Yorshka could teach the Ashen One magic and ways of incorporating magic into her combat. It'd be sweet to see them both be somewhat inexperienced with relationships in general, and I'd be particularly interested in fic that plays with the xeno elements of their relationship. I know that things that didn't make the final cut of the game aren't really canon, but I'd love to see hurt/comfort centering around the scrapped content where the Ashen One gives Yorshka Gwyndolin's finger.
Ashen One/Sirris of the Sunless Realms
I love how Sirris starts out very aloof and frosty towards the Ashen One, but eventually grows to admire her ("you are most gentle of heart" *clutches face*) and finally to pledge her service to her. I'd love a fic where Sirris mentors the Ashen One in the ways of the Darkmoon Covenant, especially if it includes their relationship slowly progressing to deep feelings and the eventual leader/helper role reversal after the Ashen One helps Sirris kill Creighton and Hodrick. A degree of hero worship on both their parts would be fantastic. Alternatively, maybe the Ashen One joins Rosaria's Fingers and the two part bitterly -- could they ever reconcile? How might the Ashen One go about regaining Sirris' trust?
Company Captain Yorshka/Sirris of the Sunless Realms
Why does Sirris refer to herself as a "former servant of the divinity" if she is still a loyal Darkmoon Blade? Yorshka's dialogue when the player finds her at the top of the tower seems to me to imply that Yorshka has been alone up there since her imprisonment, so maybe Sirris doesn't know Yorshka is alive and thinks the covenant is leaderless now that Gwyndolin is dead. I'd love to read something where the Ashen One leads Sirris to Yorshka and the two get a somewhat happy ending -- Yorshka can come down from her tower, and maybe having a new covenant leader gives Sirris motivation to live on after killing her grandfather and helping the Ashen One? Anor Londo is in shambles, but with Sulyvahn and Aldritch dead perhaps Yorshka can fill the power vacuum with Sirris as her version of the Pontiff (with lots of loyalty kink).
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST (2003)
Lust/Sloth
These two are so gloriously fucked up, and I'd love a fic to match that! I think it'd be interesting to see them start a relationship under Dante's nose, especially because I think the chance of said relationship being healthy approaches zero. They're not human, even if they want to be -- they were socialized by Dante to be distinctly inhuman, and it'd be fun to see how their twisted morals and the struggle to maintain their fractured identities would play out in a relationship. I'd love a fic that shows them working together early in the series (the creepier they are, the better!), but the decidedly antagonistic turn that their relationship takes in their last few episodes is also excellent for me. I'd be thrilled with fighting that turns into sex, perhaps taking advantage of homunculi's healing and shapeshifting abilities. Twisted h/c scenarios would also be right up my alley, especially if the same character does the hurting and the comforting. I'd love to see Sloth trying to gently lure Lust back into Dante's influence, or Lust playing along and manipulating Sloth into thinking that nothing is wrong while secretly planning to defect.
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD

Izumi Curtis/Olivier Mira Armstrong
Watching these two meet and immediately take a liking to each other was such a joy, I'd love to read anything about their further shenanigans! Maybe Olivier stops by Dublith on one of her rare trips south and the two of them reconnect? Sparring, friendly competition, and competence kink in general would be much appreciated, and I'd love to see Olivier be a bit out of her element when it comes to sex and/or romance. I can also see Izumi heading back up to the wilderness around Briggs for another survival jaunt, and I think they could easily find something to collaborate on even if Izumi refuses to support the military. Maybe something happens (a blizzard, sudden military movement from Drachma, anything), Izumi's sickness takes a dramatic turn for the worse while they're stuck outside Briggs, and Olivier ends up having to keep her from killing herself through overexertion until they can reach safety.
Note for clarification on the infidelity DNW: I see this ship scenario as a V-shaped poly thing where Izumi is in a relationship with both Sig and Olivier, and neither of the latter two are resentful of the other. So basically no betrayal, no infidelity. That said, you don't have to include Sig at all, and if you'd like to handwave his existence entirely I certainly wouldn't object! I'm only here for the femslash, hehe.
Riza Hawkeye/Gracia Hughes
I think this ship has the potential to be incredibly sweet: Gracia doesn't really have a lot of screentime but it's obvious that she's very kind, considerate, and nurturing, and under Riza's stoic exterior she can be very gentle and warm. Both of them also have a significant amount of baggage by the end of the anime, and I'd be fascinated to see how that impacts their relationship. Sickfic and other h/c scenarios would be wonderful. I'd love to see body worship for this ship, too, even in a nonexplicit fic -- Gracia brushing out Riza's hair, Riza kissing or stroking Gracia's stretch marks, Gracia carefully touching the marks on Riza's back. I'd also love to see courtship of some kind (even if they're already in an established relationship, haha), and for both of them to get a bit more depth and development than they do in canon. How do they work through their emotional baggage together? How does Riza balance her devotion to military life with her relationship with Gracia (I'd love to see them write letter to each other while Riza is in Ishval), and do problems ever arise because of this?
I'd prefer this set after Hughes' death, rather than a poly scenario. Maybe Riza is part of Gracia's support system for her grief and accidentally ends up falling for her, and over time Gracia falls for her too. Or maybe Gracia has time to grieve and move on before Riza really gets to know her, and sometime post-canon they get together. I'd love to see how Elysia reacts to their relationship as well.
PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA
Note: I know a lot of what happens in Rebellion but I haven't actually seen the movie yet, so I'd prefer if you kept the fic set in either the anime or the Different Story manga.
A general list of things I'd love to see for any/all of these ships:
* survival scenario where the requested pair is trapped in a witch's labyrinth and can't find their way out for an extended period of time
* battling together
* balance and conflict between mundane life and magical responsibilities
* fighting and reconciliation
* religious imagery
* holding each other's soul gems
* fic that deals with monstrousness -- either actual witch transformations or just the characters seeing themselves as monsters
* awkward dates or romantic encounters that turn out successful in the end
Happy endings aren't a must, but I would prefer that they get some time to be happy before things go south.
Kaname Madoka/Sakura Kyouko
Their "secret friendship" in The Different Story and their scenes in episode 9 are so melancholy and sweet, I'd love fic that maintains that tone as the relationship blossoms into romance. I like the moments of protectiveness Kyouko exhibits toward Madoka, and how willing Madoka is to see the good in Kyouko and trust her. Madoka has faith in her, and I think that could inspire Kyouko to strive to be worthy of that faith. I like the character detail of Kyouko keeping her hair clip shaped like her father's symbol, and I think it'd be very sweet to see Madoka give Kyouko a token of her affection to hang onto like that. Clothes-sharing would also be fantastic, even if it's as simple as them switching hair ribbons occasionally. I'd also love to see a bit of role reversal where Madoka has her chance to shine as a physical fighter (if she's contracted), and/or Kyouko finds herself providing (perhaps awkward, but sincere) emotional support to Madoka.
Miki Sayaka/Sakura Kyouko
Fic that retains a bit of their original antagonism would be appreciated, especially if the antagonism is of an I-care-about-you-so-much-I-hate-you flavor. I'd love to see Kyouko strong-arm Sayaka into purifying her soul gem, even if it means knocking her unconscious and using a grief seed on her herself. It would also be great to see Sayaka rescue the much-stronger Kyouko or use healing magic on her if she's badly wounded (Sayaka would definitely be smug and passive-aggressive about this if they aren't already on good terms, haha). However, something that takes place when their dynamic is more settled would also be wonderful. They both have deep wells of affection and loyalty within them, and I adore seeing them be intimate and vulnerable with each other, physically and emotionally. Above I mentioned holding soul gems, but for this ship in particular I'd also love to see them wearing each other's gems in ring form.
Miki Sayaka/Tomoe Mami
I'm fascinated by the tension that comes from Sayaka idolizing Mami and Mami having much more in common with Sayaka's need for validation and love than she wants to let on. It would be great to watch Mami struggle to maintain the image that she thinks will make Sayaka want to stay with her, and to see more of Sayaka subconsciously mimicking Mami (the anime shows her use a starting attack pattern similar to Mami's twice, and I'd love to see this acknowledged). I'd really love to see them forced into a situation where they have to acknowledge their issues and come to a deeper understanding of each other, much like Sayaka's death scene in The Different Story (though preferably with a different outcome). For a somewhat fluffier/crackier premise, I can easily see Madoka attempting to set up woo-woo "teambuilding exercises" for them that are deeply awkward but still result in genuine relationship growth.
Sakura Kyouko/Tomoe Mami
Something set in the happy days of their partnership would be lovely, especially if they manage to fess up about their affection for each other before Kyouko's family falls apart. I'd love to see them share more than battles, as Mami put it (though battle-couple fic would also be lovely!). At what point does Kyouko realize that her feelings for Mami aren't exactly sisterly anymore? What circumstances might lead Mami or Kyouko to confessing that they want to be closer?
Alternatively, I'd love to see them forced to rely on each other after their falling out. Maybe one of them risks her life for the other and it leads to an admission of feelings? Or maybe one of them is gravely injured and the other can't bear to leave her alone, so she takes her back home and cares for her? It would be interesting to see Homura interfere as well in a spin on the matchmaker trope -- after all, if Mami and Kyouko are reconciled and willing to fight Walpurgisnacht together, it would greatly benefit Homura.

I like the character detail of Kyouko keeping her hair clip shaped like her father's symbol, and I think it'd be very sweet to see Madoka give Kyouko a token of her affection to hang onto like that. Clothes-sharing would also be fantastic, even if it's as simple as them switching hair ribbons occasionally. I'd also love to see a bit of role reversal where Madoka has her chance to shine as a physical fighter (if she's contracted), and/or Kyouko finds herself providing (perhaps awkward, but sincere) emotional support to Madoka.
Miki Sayaka/Sakura Kyouko
Fic that retains a bit of their original antagonism would be appreciated, especially if the antagonism is of an I-care-about-you-so-much-I-hate-you flavor. I'd love to see Kyouko strong-arm Sayaka into purifying her soul gem, even if it means knocking her unconscious and using a grief seed on her herself. It would also be great to see Sayaka rescue the much-stronger Kyouko or use healing magic on her if she's badly wounded (Sayaka would definitely be smug and passive-aggressive about this if they aren't already on good terms, haha). However, something that takes place when their dynamic is more settled would also be wonderful. They both have deep wells of affection and loyalty within them, and I adore seeing them be intimate and vulnerable with each other, physically and emotionally. Above I mentioned holding soul gems, but for this ship in particular I'd also love to see them wearing each other's gems in ring form.
Miki Sayaka/Tomoe Mami
I'm fascinated by the tension that comes from Sayaka idolizing Mami and Mami having much more in common with Sayaka's need for validation and love than she wants to let on. It would be great to watch Mami struggle to maintain the image that she thinks will make Sayaka want to stay with her, and to see more of Sayaka subconsciously mimicking Mami (the anime shows her use a starting attack pattern similar to Mami's twice, and I'd love to see this acknowledged). I'd really love to see them forced into a situation where they have to acknowledge their issues and come to a deeper understanding of each other, much like Sayaka's death scene in The Different Story (though preferably with a different outcome). For a somewhat fluffier/crackier premise, I can easily see Madoka attempting to set up woo-woo "teambuilding exercises" for them that are deeply awkward but still result in genuine relationship growth.
Sakura Kyouko/Tomoe Mami
Something set in the happy days of their partnership would be lovely, especially if they manage to fess up about their affection for each other before Kyouko's family falls apart. I'd love to see them share more than battles, as Mami put it (though battle-couple fic would also be lovely!). At what point does Kyouko realize that her feelings for Mami aren't exactly sisterly anymore? What circumstances might lead Mami or Kyouko to confessing that they want to be closer?
Alternatively, I'd love to see them forced to rely on each other after their falling out. Maybe one of them risks her life for the other and it leads to an admission of feelings? Or maybe one of them is gravely injured and the other can't bear to leave her alone, so she takes her back home and cares for her? It would be interesting to see Homura interfere as well in a spin on the matchmaker trope -- after all, if Mami and Kyouko are reconciled and willing to fight Walpurgisnacht together, it would greatly benefit Homura.
